Complaint:
I moved to NJ cancelled my SNAP benefits when I moved, never received the cancellation letter so I called for one, now I just received a letter stating I am being investigated because I did not report someone in my household the only people in my house is myself and 2 children which were reported the childrens father moved out 11/29/16 and I applied January 2017. This investigation came as a complete surprise to me. Only recieved the letter Monday they want me to go to the city for an interview this Friday I cant being a working single parent only one living in NJ it is impossible to get there and back in time to be here for my children. I left numerous messages for the investigator explaining my issues said I would email the info required. Still have not received a call back. I am extremely upset since I did everything by the book meanwhile I am still being investigated. I had to meet with numerous employees when I reapplied in 2018 which made me feeling like a ! criminal. I had 2 employees come to my home in March of 2018 to check on me which I felt was discrimination and now this. I am trying to get this resolved as soon as possible, however I am getting nowhere. I would appreciate if you could look into this matter. Thank You
