This policy bulletin is being revised to alert staff that cases for families in homeless shelters with income, who have a zero budget while in shelter, will now be placed in Active (AC) status rather than Single Issue (SI) status. The reason for this change is to allow these families to be certified for certain rental assistance programs, such as Living in Communities (LINC).
