(This Policy Directive Replaces PD #17-08-SYS)
This policy directive is being revised to:
- Include the special verification from the Systematic Alien
Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system for non-citizens who
have a pending or approved Violence Against Women Act
(VAWA) petition;
- Provide updated versions of Attachment A (Accessing the
Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) System and
Monitoring Cases);
- Provide extra clarification when additional verification is needed;
- Update referral information for the request of the verification of a
VAWA related status in the SAVE system; and
- Remove the photo tool feature from the procedure as it will no
longer be utilized by HRA.
