(This Policy Directive Replaces PD #14-22-ELI)
This policy directive has been revised to inform staff of the following:
- Effective October 1, 2017, the SNAP resource limit increased from $3,250 to $3,500 for households that contain at least one person who is aged (60 years of age or older) or disabled;
- The CA and SNAP Resource Limits/Exemptions Desk Guide (W-204X) was updated with the increased resource limit.
- Introduce the New York Achieving a Better Life Experience (NY ABLE) Program.
