Generally, stolen SNAP benefits cannot be replaced unless an Agency error or inaction leads to the loss of a participant’s SNAP benefits. Final decisions to replace SNAP benefits reported stolen from the EBT system are made by the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance on a case-by-case basis.
