The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform Job Center and Non Cash Assistance (NCA) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Center staff of the closing of the 2013-2014 Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Cooling Assistance Component (CAC).
The CAC closed June 26, 2014 and any applications received after the closing date must be denied using the HEAP Cooling Assistance Notice of Eligibility Decision Notice (LDSS-4993).
