The instructions in this policy directive are for Job Center staff. They are informational for all other staff.
This policy directive has been revised to:
- indicate that the Proration Table for Computation of Immediate Needs Grants (Code 44) (M-696g) has been updated;
- provide new examples outlining the way in which JOS/Workers must calculate the budget for the first semimonthly F&O grant for Cash Assistance (CA) participants; and
- utilize the terms Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly the Food Stamp program) and Expedited Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (ESNAP) (formerly Expedited Food Stamps [EFS]) benefits.
