The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform all Job Center and Non Cash Assistance Food Stamp (NCA FS) Center staff that the New York State legislature and the Office of the Governor have changed the name of the Food Stamp Program to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Therefore, any reference to Food Stamp benefits shall mean SNAP benefits, and any reference to NCA FS Centers shall mean NCA SNAP Centers.
