The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform all Job Center and Non Cash Assistance Food Stamp (NCA-FS) Center staff that as a result of a name change by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), beginning August 29, 2012, any reference to the Food Stamp Program shall mean the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and any reference to Food Stamps shall mean SNAP benefits. Any reference to NCA FS Centers shall mean SNAP Centers.
