(This Policy Bulletin Replaces PB #09-54-OPE)
This policy bulletin is being revised to inform Job Center staff that:
- MetroCards reflecting the new fare rates will be available for distribution to applicants/participants beginning Monday, June 22, 2009.
- Under certain conditions, MetroCards purchased before the June 28, 2009 fare increase may continue to be used.
- The second carfare example has been removed because job search carfare and apartment search carfare are not received simultaneously.
- A monthly amount must be entered in the SPEC NDS: AMT field when using Special Needs Code 25 (Carfare [Homeless PA Recipients]).
