The purpose of this policy bulletin is to inform Job Center staff that effective Monday, June 29, 2009, staff must issue only a one-way single-ride fare in advance for an applicant to report to his/her Bureau of Eligibility Verification (BEV) appointment. If the applicant keeps the BEV appointment, BEV will then provide the fare required to return home.
Until further notice, staff must continue to provide round-trip fare for all other appointments.
