Effective February 17, 2015, a new Fair Hearings Information System (FHIS) agency code was created to identify hearings scheduled to review issues for clients who reside in a nursing home and receive Medicaid benefits from the New York City Medical Assistance Program. The new FHIS agency acronym is NHED (Nursing Home Eligibility Division).
