Documents : OAH Procedures Transmittals for 2014

14-01 Disposition Codes 99 (Pend Delay by Appellant) and 15 (Adjourn Delay by Appellant) (Revised)

This transmittal is being released by the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) to document a change in process from instructions contained in Transmittal 11-004.

Disposition Code 99 (PEND DELAY BY APPELLANT) is used in the Fair Hearing Information System (FHIS) when an appellant or representative requests a delay in the scheduling of the fair hearing upon a showing of good cause.

Disposition Code 15 (ADJOURN DELAY BY APPELLANT) is used in FHIS to prevent the automatic rescheduling of a hearing that has been adjourned for good cause.

Both codes allow OAH staff to specify the length of the requested delay.
