96-11: Change in Language on DSS-457, Notice of Fair Hearing (03/26/96)

Effective immediately, new language has been added to the Notice of Fair Hearing (DSS-457) for aid-continuing cases. The new language appears in Box B (Aid Status) on the face of the Notice. The text is as follows with the new language appearing in bold:

"THE LOCAL OFFICE IS DIRECTED TO CONTINUE  ASSISTANCE UNCHANGED UNTIL THE FAIR HEARING DECISION IS ISSUED. SEE PAR. 8 ON REVERSE."

This change merely refers the client to Paragraph 8 on the reverse side of the DSS-457 for information regarding what action the appellant can take if aid-continuing benefits are not forthcoming from the local agency. There has been no change in the wording of Paragraph 8.
