Effective Friday, November 13, 1998, the New York City Transitional Benefits Unit (NTBU) hearings will be held at 109 E. 16th Street. These hearings were previously held at 80 Centre Street.
The agency designation NTBU is utilized when a fair hearing request involves issue code 258 (Transitional Medical Assistance) and/or issue code 314 (Transitional Child Care). There is no change in coding.
