A new Food Stamp (FS) issue code (462) and Medical Assistance (MA) issue code (263) have been established for use when coding requests involving "Agency Action Due to Finger Imaging (Client Requested)."
In the past, issue code 162 covered all finger-imaging issues for Public Assistance (PA), MA and FS. Currently, issue code 162 is to be used when coding PA finger-imaging issues, with the new corresponding codes of 462 for FS finger-imaging issues and 263 for MA finger-imaging issues.
