Special Series Issue Code 995 is no longer designated for use when coding statewide cases involving Greenstein v. Dowling since there is no need to continue to track these cases. Communications Intake staff should now use the more generic Issue Code 251, Reimbursement to Persons or Agencies Other Than the Vendor. These cases concern reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenditures incurred by Medical Assistance recipients for covered services as a result of agency error.
