This transmittal announced that, in the past, it had been standard office practice for Communications Intake Unit (CIU) staff to enter on the Fair Hearing Information System (FHIS) the subcategory NEMP for those hearing requests involving issues of employability determinations in Nassau County.
Nassau County has advised that it is no longer necessary to continue this practice. Effective immediately, these requests should be processed without the use of a subcategory.
