Effective February 22, 2009, the Subcategory KFC (Kinship Foster Care) will no longer be utilized in cases involving relative caretakers. The use of Issue Code 315 will, in itself, reflect that the caretaker is related to the children in the household as distinguished from the use of Issue Code 313 for non-relative caretakers.
