This transmittal explains that the New York City the Office of Domestic Violence and Emergency Intervention Services (ODV) will be notified concerning any requests for fair hearings from or on behalf of a client whose placement in a domestic violence shelter is at issue. These requests can be identified as cases where placement in a domestic violence shelter is denied or terminated, or any adequacy issue related to the client's placement in a domestic violence shelter.
