06-09: Toll-Free Number for Hearing Matters Related to the Flood of 2006 (07/13/06)

The following counties have been declared disaster areas due to the recent flooding: Delaware, Broome, Tioga, Otsego, Chenango, Montgomery, Herkimer, Sullivan, Oneida, Schoharie, Rensselaer and Ulster.

OAH has established a toll-free number [1-866-401-3214] for appellants in the affected counties. Callers may use this number to access the OAH Communications Intake Unit for hearing matters related to the “Flood of 2006.”

Callers accessing this dedicated line will be afforded every consideration with respect to aid-continuing in view of likely delays or non-receipt of notice as well as scheduling priority, as warranted.
