Foreclosure Prevention Technical Services Coordinator – Rochester, Albany or Long Island

Empire Justice Center, a highly respected, statewide legal services organization, is seeking a Foreclosure Prevention Technical Support Services Coordinator to join our team. Our current openings are for one (1) Foreclosure Prevention Services Coordinator to work in one of our offices located in Albany, Rochester, or Central Islip on Long Island.                                                               

Position Description:

Empire Justice Center is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Technical Support Coordinator for its foreclosure prevention services program. The Coordinator will assist with the implementation and management of Empire Justice’s role as Anchor Partner under contract with the NYS Office of the Attorney General as part of their Homeowner Protection Program (HOPP). The focus of the position will be responsible for data collection under the contracts, communications and assisting in the development and implementation of trainings, and other support to the legal services and housing counseling organizations under HOPP.

Primary responsibilities will include:

− Working as part of Empire Justice’s HOPP Anchor Partner team

− Oversight of data collection and analysis − Developing data collection systems and processes

− Providing technical assistance to grantees

− Maintaining Empire Justice Center HOPP portal and web-based systems

− Conducting data analysis and research

Candidates for this position should possess:

− Ability to meet tight deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team

− Strong organizational skills − Strong IT skills

− The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse staff and network of colleagues

− A commitment to addressing the structures and institutions that keep New Yorkers in poverty
