Neighborhood Legal Services, Inc. (NLS), a major free civil
legal services provider in Western New York, seeks applicants for a 6-12 month
temporary, full-time, attorney position in the Buffalo, New York office. This attorney will represent clients who are
also receiving services from the Family Justice Center, concerning intimate
partner violence. The attorney will
interview clients, develop evidence, and represent them in Supreme and Family
Candidates with one to three years' experience involving low-income and/or victimized individuals preferred. Must have excellent written and oral
communication skills, empathy for clients, and capacity to analyze facts and
law. Spanish-speaking/writing ability a
