The Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project
(VLP) seeks a full time bi-lingual paralegal to work for our Buffalo office which
provides free civil legal services to low income people.
formal paralegal education and training is required, but the ideal candidate
must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, be organized, be able to
multi-task, have excellent writing and spoken abilities, have the ability to work both independently and as a team member, have
a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with diverse individuals, and able
to collect and manage data. Computer
skills are a plus. The person should be
comfortable interacting with low income clients, other VLP staff, volunteer
attorneys, and Court personnel.
Salary depends upon experience. Excellent benefits including
